that Allāh says: *"Do not prostrate,"* meaning, O those, prostrate, for those who recite with the lightening of the "do not."
تعالى:* (ألا يا اسجدوا) * أي يا هؤلاء اسجدوا، فيمن قرأ بتخفيف ألا.
"When a servant commits adultery, faith departs from him and hovers like a shadow. When he ceases, faith returns to him." This was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (4690) and al-Ḥākim (1/22) through the route of Saʿīd ibn Abī Maryam, who informed us that Nāfiʿ ibn Yazīd narrated to us from Ibn al-Hād that Saʿīd ibn Abī Saʿīd narrated to us that he heard Abū Hurayrah say: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, and he mentioned it. Al-Ḥākim said: "Authentic according to the conditions of the two Shaykhs," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. However, it is as they said except for Nāfiʿ, for al-Bukhārī only extracted from him in a suspended form, so it is according to the condition of Muslim alone. Then al-Ḥākim recorded it through another route from Abū Hurayrah with the wording: "Whoever commits adultery or drinks wine, Allāh removes faith from him as a person removes a shirt from over his head." But its isnād is weak, and its clarification is in "al-Silsilah al-Ḍaʿīfah" (1274). Al-Mundhirī attributed the ḥadīth in "al-Targhīb" (3/191) to al-Tirmidhī as well. This is due to his leniency, for it is with al-Tirmidhī (2/104) in a suspended form without a chain.
" إذا زنى العبد خرج منه الإيمان وكان كالظلة، فإذا انقلع منها رجع إليه الإيمان ". أخرجه أبو داود (٤٦٩٠) والحاكم (١ / ٢٢) من طريق سعيد ابن أبي مريم أنبأنا نافع بن يزيد حدثنا ابن الهاد أن سعيد بن أبي سعيد حدثنا أنه سمع أبا هريرة يقول: قال رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. وقال الحاكم: " صحيح على شرط الشيخين " ووافقه الذهبي وهو كما قالا إلا في نافع فإنما أخرج له البخاري تعليقا، فهو على شرط مسلم وحده. ثم أخرجه الحاكم من طريق أخرى عن أبي هريرة بلفظ: " من زنى أو شرب الخمر نزع الله منه الإيمان كما يخلع الإنسان القميص من رأسه ". لكن إسناده ضعيف وبيانه في " السلسلة الضعيفة (١٢٧٤) . والحديث عزاه المنذري في " الترغيب " (٣ / ١٩١) للترمذي أيضا. وذلك من تساهله، فإنه عند الترمذي (٢ / ١٠٤) معلق بدون سند.
"Whoever Allāh protects from the evil of what is between his jaws and the evil of what is between his legs will enter Paradise." This was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (2/66) through the route of Ibn ʿAjlān from Abū Ḥāzim from Abū Hurayrah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said it, and he mentioned it. He said: "This is a ḥasan gharīb ḥadīth, and Abū Ḥāzim's name is Sulaymān, the freed slave of ʿAzzah al-Ashjaʿiyyah." I say: He is trustworthy and relied upon in "the two Ṣaḥīḥs," and so are all the other narrators except Ibn ʿAjlān
" من وقاه الله شر ما بين لحييه وشر ما بين رجليه دخل الجنة ". أخرجه الترمذي (٢ / ٦٦) من طريق ابن عجلان عن أبي حازم عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. وقال: " هذا حديث حسن غريب وأبو حازم اسمه سلمان مولى عزة الأشجعية ". قلت: وهو ثقة محتج به في " الصحيحين " وكذلك سائر الرواة إلا ابن عجلان
