In the name of Allāh, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. Introduction to the New Edition All praise is due to Allāh, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allāh from the evils of ourselves and the misdeeds of our actions. Whomever Allāh guides, none can mislead, and whomever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allāh, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muḥammad is His servant and messenger. To proceed; this is a new edition of the second volume of "The Series of Authentic Ḥadīths," revised and expanded, with new benefits added that I have gathered over these many years that have passed without being able to reprint it in this pleasing and satisfactory form. This was due to the severance of my publishing relationship with its first publisher, the owner of the Islamic Office, because of my migration from Damascus to Amman in the Levant first, and then I cut all the brotherly ties that existed between me and him after it became clear to me through various means that he was exploiting my trust in him, my reliance on him, and my dedication to knowledge. He acted in ways contrary to the trust and honesty expected of him, which I had assumed were present in him. However, his unfortunate reality, both scholarly and materially, compelled me to announce my severance from him. I had revealed some of his actions in some of my introductions, such as the introduction to "The Etiquettes of Marriage" published by the Islamic Library in Amman, and "The Abridged Bukhārī," the second volume published by Dār Ibn al-Qayyim in Dammam
