It was also narrated by Ibn Mājah (1/108) from Wakīʿ with the same chain. Then it was narrated by Aḥmad (3/332) and likewise by al-Ḥākim (4/281) through two other routes from Sufyān with the wording: "When he would leave his house, we would walk in front of him, leaving his back for the angels." Al-Ḥākim remained silent about it, and its chain is authentic; all its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the six [books] except for Nabīḥ, who is a diminutive form and is Ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-ʿAnazī. Abū Zurʿah deemed him trustworthy, and a group narrated from him as mentioned in al-Khulāṣah. Thus, the statement of al-Ḥāfiẓ in al-Taqrīb "acceptable" is inadequate regarding him. The ḥadīth has also been reported from his (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saying with the wording: "Walk in front of me..." The detailed discussion on it will come, Allāh willing, under number (1557).

"Whoever's intercession prevents the implementation of one of Allāh's limits has opposed Allāh in His command. Whoever dies with a debt, there is neither dinar nor dirham, but rather good deeds and bad deeds. Whoever argues for falsehood while knowing it will remain in Allāh's displeasure until he desists. Whoever speaks about a believer what is not true will be detained in the mire of the Hellfire until he finds a way out of what he said." It was narrated by Abū Dāwūd (2/117) and al-Ḥākim (2/27), and the wording is his, and by Aḥmad (2/70) from Zuhair, who narrated to us from ʿUmārah ibn Ghaziyyah from Yaḥyá ibn Rāshid from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿUmar as a marfūʿ ḥadīth. Al-Ḥākim said: "Its chain is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him, and it is as they said, and its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim except for Yaḥyá ibn
