he compiled and authored what no one else had authored." Then he elaborated extensively on his biography. Al-Ḥurr ibn Muḥammad was also translated by al-Khaṭīb, who presented this ḥadīth for him, and narrated from al-Dāraqūṭnī that he said about him: "There is no harm in him," and from others that he was "a trustworthy shaykh." The rest of the narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the six [books], except for al-Zubayr ibn Bakkār, who is trustworthy as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb." However, Khālid was not alone in narrating it; Abū Ṣakhr, who is Ḥumayd ibn Ziyād, also followed him with the wording: "The believer is sociable, and there is no good in one who neither associates nor is associated with." It was recorded by Aḥmad and his son ʿAbd Allāh (2/400). Aḥmad said: "Hārūn ibn Maʿrūf narrated to us"—ʿAbd Allāh said: "And I heard it myself from Hārūn"—"ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us, saying: 'Abū Ṣakhr informed me from Abū Ḥāzim from Abū Ṣāliḥ from Abū Hurayrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) as a marfūʿ ḥadīth.'" Al-Haythamī mentioned it (8/87, 10/273) saying: "It was narrated by Aḥmad and al-Bazzār, and its men are the men of the authentic [collections]." I say: All of them are from the narrators of Muslim, so it is authentic according to his criteria. It was also recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/23), who abbreviated it, from the route of Aḥmad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Razīn: "Hārūn ibn Maʿrūf narrated to us, ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us, Abū Ṣakhr narrated to us from Abū Ḥāzim from Abū Hurayrah as a marfūʿ ḥadīth with the wording: 'Indeed, the believer associates,' and the rest is similar, but he omitted Abū Ṣāliḥ from the isnād, and said: 'Authentic according to the criteria of the two shaykhs, and I do not know of any defect in it.'"
جمعوصنف ما لم يصنف أحد ". ثم أطال في ترجمته.والحر بن محمد ترجمه الخطيب أيضا وساق له هذا الحديث، وروى عن الدارقطنيأنه قال فيه: " لا بأس به " وعن غيره أنه " شيخ ثقة ". وبقية رجاله ثقاترجال الستة غير الزبير بن بكار وهو ثقة كما في " التقريب ". ولكن خالدا هذا لم يتفرد به بل تابعه أبو صخر وهو حميد بن زياد بلفظ:" المؤمن مؤلف، ولا خير فيمن لا يألف ولا يؤلف ". أخرجه أحمد وابنه عبد الله (٢ / ٤٠٠) قال أحمد: حدثنا هارون بن معروف - قالعبد الله: وسمعته أنا من هارون - قال: حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب قال: أخبرنيأبو صخر عن أبي حازم عن أبي صالح عن أبي هريرة ﵁ مرفوعا به. وأورده الهيثمي (٨ / ٨٧، ١٠ / ٢٧٣) فقال: " رواه أحمد والبزار ورجالهرجال الصحيح ". قلت: وكلهم من رجال مسلم فهو صحيح على شرطه. وقد أخرجه الحاكم (١ / ٢٣)فقصر به، من طريق أحمد بن يحيى بن رزين حدثنا هارون بن معروف حدثنا عبد اللهبن وهب حدثنا أبو صخر عن أبي حازم عن أبي هريرة مرفوعا بلفظ:" إن المؤمن يألف " والباقي مثله، فأسقط من الإسناد أبا صالح، وقال:" صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولا أعلم له علة ".
