"a ḥadīth that is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ." and it is as he said, and al-Ḥākim and al-Dhahabī remained silent about it. All its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the authentic collections. It has a supporting narration with the wording: "If one of you loves his companion, let him go to his house and inform him that he loves him for the sake of Allāh." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/145, 173) through the route of Ibn Lahīʿah, who reported from Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb that Abū Sālim al-Jayshānī came to Abū Umayyah in his house and said: I heard Abū Dharr say: He heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: (and he mentioned it), and I have loved you, so I came to you in your house. Al-Haythamī said (10/281-282): "Aḥmad narrated it, and its isnād is ḥasan." I say: It is not ḥasan because Ibn Lahīʿah is weak due to his memory. Then I saw it from the narration of Ibn al-Mubārak from him, and it is authentic. See it under number (797). The ḥadīth was also narrated by al-Maqdisī in "al-Mukhtārah" as in "al-Jāmiʿ," and it was narrated with the wording: "If one of you loves a servant, let him inform him, for he will find the same as he finds for him." It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" from Ibn ʿUmar as in "al-Jāmiʿ," and it was marked as weak. Al-Manāwī explained this, saying: "In it is ʿAbd Allāh ibn Abī Marrah, whom al-Dhahabī mentioned among the weak narrators, saying: A tābiʿī who is unknown."

"If a man loves another man, let him inform him that he loves him." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (79): Yaḥyá ibn Bishr narrated to us, saying: Qabīṣah narrated to us, saying: Sufyān narrated to us from Rabāḥ from Abū ʿUbayd Allāh from Mujāhid, who said:
