4 - from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Yaʿqūb from his father from him with the wording: "I fight the people." This was narrated exclusively by Muslim. 5 - from Sufyān from Abū Ṣāliḥ, the freed slave of al-Tawʾamah, from him. This was narrated exclusively by Aḥmad (2/475), and its chain is good. 6 - from Muḥammad from Abū Salamah from him. This was also narrated exclusively by Aḥmad (2/502), and its chain is good. 7 - from Yazīd ibn Kaysān from Abū Ḥāzim from him. This was narrated exclusively by Aḥmad (2/527) and its chain is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim. 8 - from ʿĀṣim from Ziyād ibn Qays from him with the wording "We fight the people...." It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī and its chain is good. 9 - from Hammām ibn Munabbih from him with the wording: "I will not cease to fight...." It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/314) with a chain according to their criteria. 10 - from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn Abī ʿAmrah from him with the wording of Hammām. It was narrated by Aḥmad (2/482) and it is also according to their criteria. 11 - from Muḥammad ibn ʿAjlān who said, "I heard my father from him with the wording of al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father."
