this, and it is not hidden from the discerning that his statement "greater in blessing" is not equivalent to saying "without blessing," for the former implies that it is lesser in blessing. This is one thing, and his statement "without blessing" necessitates a thorough examination of the other supporting evidences in terms of their isnād and their testimony, as among those evidences is what he attributed to "al-Ḥilyah" from the ḥadīth of Anas. I did not see it in that wording. Then I saw that al-Munāwī mentioned that it means the ḥadīth of Anas which said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was brought a steaming dish, so he raised his hand from it and said: "Indeed, Allāh did not feed us fire," then he mentioned it. He did not discuss its isnād at all, nor did I see it in "al-Bughyah fī Tartīb Aḥādīth al-Ḥilyah."
- "Eat from its sides and leave its peak so that it may be blessed for you, then he said: Take and eat, for by the One in whose hand is the soul of Muḥammad, you will conquer the lands of Persia and Rome, until food becomes abundant and the name of Allāh is not mentioned over it." Authentic, narrated by Abū Bakr al-Shāfiʿī in "al-Fawāʾid" (98/1) and from him by Ibn ʿAsākir (8/532/2), al-Bayhaqī (7/283), and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (112/1) from ʿAmr ibn ʿUthmān who reported from his father, who reported from Muḥammad ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān ibn ʿAriq, who reported from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Busr who said: A sheep was gifted to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and food was scarce that day, so he said to his family: Cook this sheep and look at this flour, bake it, cook, and pour broth over it. He said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) had a dish called al-Gharāʾ which was carried by four men. When morning came and they prayed the ḍuḥá prayer, that dish was brought, and they gathered around it. When the people increased, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) knelt, and an Arab said: What is this sitting? The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Indeed, Allāh has made me a generous servant and not a stubborn tyrant," then the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) mentioned it. It was also recorded by Abū Dāwūd (3773) and Ibn Mājah in two separate places (3263, 3275) without his statement: "then he said..."
