its chain of narration is authentic, and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. It is as they said. Al-Mundhirī attributed the ḥadīth (2/156) and Ibn Kathīr in "al-Bidāyah" (4/356) to al-Nasāʾī as well, but al-Nābulusī did not attribute it to him in "al-Dhakhāʾir," and I did not find it in "al-Sunan al-Ṣughrā," so it appears to be in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā."

- "Consume olive oil and anoint yourselves with it, for it is from a blessed tree." It is also narrated from ʿUmar, Abū Usayd, Abū Hurayrah, and ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbbās. 1 - The ḥadīth of ʿUmar has two paths: the first: ʿAbd al-Razzāq said: from Maʿmar from Zayd ibn Aslam from his father from him. It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (1/340), Ibn Mājah (3319), al-Ḥākim (2/122), and al-Ḍiyāʾ al-Maqdisī in "al-Aḥādīth al-Mukhtārah" (1/35), all from ʿAbd al-Razzāq with this chain. ʿAbd al-Razzāq also recorded it in "Kitāb al-Jāmiʿ" (vol. 1, no. 149 - my copy) with this chain, except he said: "from his father, I think, from ʿUmar." Al-Tirmidhī said afterward: "We do not know it except from the narration of ʿAbd al-Razzāq from Maʿmar, and ʿAbd al-Razzāq was inconsistent in narrating this ḥadīth, as he sometimes mentioned: from ʿUmar from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and sometimes he narrated it with doubt saying: I think from ʿUmar (original: Maʿmar) from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and sometimes he said: from Zayd ibn Aslam from his father from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) similarly without mentioning: from ʿUmar."
