she saddled her camel and placed me on the saddle, then rode behind me until we reached my mother. She said, 'I have fulfilled my trust and obligation,' and told her what I had experienced. This did not alarm her, and she said, 'I saw a light emanating from me that illuminated the palaces of Syria.' This was recorded by al-Dārimī (1/8-9), al-Ḥākim (2/616-617), and Aḥmad (4/184) through the narration of Baqiyyah ibn al-Walīd, who reported from Baḥīr ibn Saʿīd, from Khālid ibn Maʿdān, from ʿUtbah ibn ʿAbd al-Sulamī, who narrated it and was one of the Companions of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). A man asked the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), 'How was the beginning of your affair, O Messenger of Allāh?' He mentioned it. The context is from the first [narration], and al-Ḥākim said: it is authentic according to the criteria of Muslim, and al-Dhahabī agreed. However, there is a consideration, as Baqiyyah has only one ḥadīth in Muslim as a follow-up, as al-Khazrajī mentioned, and this isnād is good because Baqiyyah explicitly stated the narration. It was also mentioned in "al-Majmaʿ" (8/222) and he said: "Aḥmad and al-Ṭabarānī narrated it but did not provide the text, and the isnād of Aḥmad is good." It was also narrated by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Dalāʾil" as in "al-Bidāyah" (2/275). This ḥadīth has many supporting narrations, so refer to (I am the supplication of my father Ibrāhīm) number (1545).

- "The leader of the martyrs is Ḥamzah ibn ʿAbd al-Muṭṭalib, and a man who stood up to a tyrannical ruler, enjoined him, and forbade him, and was killed." This was recorded by al-Ḥākim (3/195) from Rāfiʿ ibn Ashras al-Marwazī, who reported from Ḥafīd al-Ṣaffār, from Ibrāhīm al-Ṣāʾigh, from ʿAṭāʾ, from Jābir (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with it.
