and it was also narrated by al-Nasāʾī in "Kitāb al-Tafsīr" from "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" as mentioned in "Tafsīr Ibn Kathīr" (4/573) and deemed good by al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Fatḥ" (8/206). (Benefit) The ḥadīth indicates the permissibility of pointing to the moon with the hand, contrary to what some shaykhs have reported as its disapproval, and the ḥadīth refutes that.
وقد رواه النسائي أيضا في " كتاب التفسير " من " سننه الكبرى " كما في " تفسيرابن كثير " (٤ / ٥٧٣) وحسنه الحافظ في " الفتح " (٨ / ٢٠٦) .(فائدة) في الحديث دلالة على جواز الإشارة باليد إلى القمر خلافا لما نقل عنبعض المشايخ من كراهة ذلك، والحديث يرد عليه.
- "My nurse was from Banū Saʿd ibn Bakr, and I went with her son among our sheep without taking provisions with us. I said, 'O my brother, go and bring us provisions from our mother.' My brother went, and I stayed with the sheep. Then two white birds, as if they were eagles, approached. One said to the other, 'Is it him?' The other replied, 'Yes.' They both came towards me, took hold of me, laid me on my back, and split open my abdomen. They extracted my heart, split it, and removed two black clots from it. One said to the other, 'Bring me snow water,' and he washed my insides with it. Then he said, 'Bring me cold water,' and he washed my heart with it. Then he said, 'Bring me tranquility,' and he sprinkled it into my heart. Then one said to the other, 'Weigh him,' and he weighed me and sealed me with the seal of prophethood. Then one said to the other, 'Place him in one pan and a thousand of his nation in another pan.' The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'I looked and saw the thousand above me, fearing that some of them might fall on me.' He said, 'If his nation were weighed against him, they would incline towards him.' Then they left me and departed. The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: 'I was greatly frightened and went to my mother and informed her of what had happened. She feared that something had possessed me and said, 'I seek refuge for you with Allāh.'"
- " كانت حاضنتي من بني سعد بن بكر، فانطلقت أنا وابن لها في بهم لنا ولم نأخذمعنا زادا، فقلت: " يا أخي اذهب فأتنا بزاد من عند أمنا، فانطلق أخي ومكثتعند البهم، فأقبل طائران أبيضان كأنهما نسران فقال أحدهما لصاحبه: أهو هو؟قالا الآخر: نعم، فأقبلا يبتدراني فأخذاني فبطحاني للقفا فشقا بطني، ثماستخرجا قلبي فشقاه فأخرجا منه علقتين سوداوين، فقال أحدهما لصاحبه: ائتنيبماء ثلج، فغسل به جوفي، ثم قال: ائتني بماء برد، فغسل به قلبي، ثم قال:ائتني بالسكينة، فذره في قلبي، ثم قال أحدهما لصحابه: حصه، فحاصه وختمعليه بخاتم النبوة، ثم قال أحدهما لصاحبه: اجعله في كفة، واجعل ألفا منأمته في كفة، قال رسول الله ﷺ: فإذا أنا أنظر إلى الألففوقي أشفق أن يخر علي بعضهم، فقال: لو أن أمته وزنت به لمال بهم، ثم انطلقاوتركاني قال رسول الله ﷺ: وفرقت فرقا شديدا ثم انطلقت إلىأمي فأخبرتها، بالذي لقيت، فأشفقت أن يكون قد التبس بي، فقالت: أعيذك بالله،
