then he narrated it through the route of Muʿāwiyah ibn Salām from his brother from his grandfather Abū Salām from Abū Rāshid in an abridged form. And the ḥadīth was mentioned by al-Mundhirī (3/29): "It was narrated by Aḥmad with a good isnād."

"Indeed, a man will have intercourse with a hundred virgins in a day, meaning in Paradise." It was narrated by Abū Nuʿaym in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (169/1 - Shaykh al-Islām) and al-Ḍiyāʾ in "Ṣifat al-Jannah" (82/2) through the route of al-Ṭabarānī with his two isnāds from Ḥusayn ibn ʿAlī al-Juʿfī from Zāʾidah from Hishām ibn Ḥassān from Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn from Abū Hurayrah who said: It was said, O Messenger of Allāh, will we reach our wives in Paradise? He replied: and he mentioned it. Al-Ṭabarānī said: "Al-Juʿfī was unique in narrating it." Al-Maqdisī said: "I said: And its narrators, in my view, meet the criteria of authenticity." I said: And it is as he said, for the isnād is authentic and we do not know of any defect in it. And I found a corroborating narration for it from the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAbbās, narrated as marfūʿ, and it was extracted by al-Ḥarbī in "al-Gharīb" (5/52/2)
