It was recorded by Muslim (1/210). In another narration from her, she said: ʿUmar was mistaken; the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) only forbade timing the rising and setting of the sun. It was narrated by Abū ʿAwānah (1/382) and al-Nasāʾī (1/96) with the wording: ʿUmar was mistaken. I said: Lady ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) is referring to what is established about ʿUmar: that he used to strike those who prayed the two rakʿahs after ʿAṣr. (When you follow a funeral procession, do not sit until it is placed [on the ground]).
