as for the statement of al-Haythamī following the ḥadīth with this addition: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī with two isnāds, and the men of one of them are trustworthy"! I say: there is an error in it, or leniency in the referencing; because the isnād whose men he considered trustworthy is with him without the addition, similar to the narration of the group, but it does not contradict their narration. (Note): Among the oddities of referencing: the commentator on "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" by al-Baghawī did not attribute it to anyone other than Muslim, even though al-Baghawī attributed it to al-Bukhārī as well!

(if one of you perfects his Islām, every good deed he does will be written for him tenfold, up to seven hundred times, and every bad deed he does will be written for him as it is, until he meets Allāh. It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (42), Muslim (1/82), Abū ʿAwānah (1/83-84), Ibn Ḥibbān in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1/226-228), al-Bayhaqī in "al-Asmāʾ wa-al-Ṣifāt" (p. 71), al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (14/339/4148), and Aḥmad (2/317), all from the route of ʿAbd al-Razzāq: Maʿmar informed us from Hammām ibn Munabbih who said: This is what Abū Hurayrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) narrated to us from Muḥammad, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam). It is in "Ṣaḥīfah Hammām ibn Munabbih" (43/103). (Note): Among the haste of the commentator on "al-Baghawī", and his lack of accuracy: he attributed it to al-Bukhārī in "The Chapter on the Words of Allāh: (They wish to change the words of Allāh)"!! But this ḥadīth is not in it; rather, there is another ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah about good and bad deeds, which he confused with this one.
