third: from al-ʿAlāʾ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from his father from Abū Hurayrah, elevated [to the Prophet], similar to the ḥadīth of the chapter; and at the end of it: "Indeed, men will be driven away from my basin just as a stray camel is driven away. I will call to them: 'Come here!' It will be said: 'They changed after you,' so I will say: 'Away, away!'" Narrated by Muslim (1/150-151), Abū ʿAwānah (1/138), al-Bayhaqī (161), and Aḥmad (2/300 and 408). fourth: from Muḥammad ibn Ziyād: I heard Abū Hurayrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: "By the One in Whose hand is my soul! I will drive men away from my basin just as a stray camel is driven away from the basin." Narrated by al-Bukhārī (2367) - and this is his wording -, Muslim (7/70), al-Bayhaqī (165), al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (15/172/4345), and Aḥmad (2/298 and 454). Al-Baghawī said: "This ḥadīth is agreed upon for its authenticity." fifth: from ʿUbayd Allāh ibn Abī Rāfiʿ from him, elevated [to the Prophet], very briefly. Narrated by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Sunnah" (769). sixth: from al-Walīd ibn Rabāḥ from him, elevated [to the Prophet], also briefly. Narrated by Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim (775). And the ḥadīth has many supporting narrations, a good number of which were collected by al-Bukhārī, Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim, al-Bayhaqī, and others with different wordings; some are lengthy, and some are brief. *
