Khālid ibn Nizār, my father narrated to me: Sufyān ibn ʿUyaynah narrated to us from Abū Najīḥ from his father from him. al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (8/73): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its narrators are those of 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ', except for Ṭāhir ibn Khālid ibn Nizār, who is trustworthy, but there is some weakness in him." Thus he said! He overlooked that his father Khālid ibn Nizār is not among the narrators of 'al-Ṣaḥīḥ', and he is truthful but makes mistakes as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb". However, this ḥadīth of his is undoubtedly authentic; for its first part is supported by what precedes it, and its second part is supported by the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAmr in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" similar to it, and the wording of Muslim (1/64-65) is closer to it. He was contradicted in the first part by Isḥāq ibn Ismāʿīl al-Ṭālaqānī, in both its isnād and its text, as he said: Sufyān narrated to us from Ibn Abī Najīḥ from his father from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) who said... and he mentioned it mursal with the wording: "The worst form of usury is preferring oneself over one's brother with insult." It was recorded by Ibn Abī al-Dunyā in "al-Ṣamt" (174) from him. And its isnād is authentic; were it not for it being mursal. The third: from ʿĀʾishah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to his Companions: "Tell me, what is the worst form of usury?" They said: Allāh and His Messenger know best! He said: "Indeed, the worst form of usury in the sight of Allāh is violating the honor of a Muslim," then he recited: "And those who harm believing men and believing women for something other than what they have earned, they have certainly borne upon themselves a slander and manifest sin." (Al-Aḥzāb, 58)
خالد بن نزار، حدثني أبي: ثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن أبي نجيح عن أبيه عنه. قال الهيثمي في "المجمع " (٨/٧٣) :"رواه الطبراني، ورجاله رجال "الصحيح "؛ غير طاهر بن خالد بن نزار، وهو ثقة، وفيه لين "!كذا قال! وفاته أن أباه خالد بن نزار ليس من رجال "الصحيح "، ثم هو صدوق يخطئ كما في "التقريب ". ولكن حديثه هذا صحيح بلا ريب؛ فإن شطره الأول يشهد له ما قبله، وشطره الآخر يشهد له حديث ابن عمرو في "الصحيحين " نحوه، ولفظ مسلم (١/ ٦٤- ٦٥) إليه أقرب. وقد خالفه في الشطر الأول: إسحاق بن إسماعيل الطالقاني، في إسناده ومتنه، فقال: حدثنا سفيان عن ابن أبي نجيح عن أبيه عن النبي ﷺ قال ... فذكره مرسلاً بلفظ:"أربى الربا: تفضيل المرء على أخيه بالشتم ". أخرجه ابن أبي الدنيا في "الصمت " (١٧٤) عنه. وإسناده صحيح؛ لولا أنه مرسل. الثالث: عن عائشة قالت: قال رسول الله ﷺ لأصحابه:"أخبروني بأربى الربا؟ ". قالوا: الله ورسوله أعلم! قال؛"فإن أربى الربى عند الله ﷿: استحلال عرض المسلم "، ثم قرأ: (والذين يؤذون المؤمنين والمؤمنات بغير ما اكتسبوا فقد احتملوا بهتاناً وإثماً مبيناً) .
