that this ḥadīth was presented to Yazīd ibn Abī Ḥabīb at ʿArafah from al-Sāʾib ibn Mālik, who heard Faḍālah say: A man approached and said: O Messenger of Allāh! May Allāh's blessings be upon you, what deed is closest to jihād? He said: ... and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is good; all its narrators are trustworthy, and there is some discussion regarding Sālim ibn Ghaylān that does not harm [the isnād]; therefore, al-Dhahabī said in "al-Kāshif": "Truthful." Ibn Ḥibbān also included him in "al-Ṣaḥīḥ" after declaring him trustworthy in "al-Thiqāt."

- (I have been given what no other prophet has been given. We said: O Messenger of Allāh! What is it?
