and it was also narrated by Isrāʾīl from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr from Muṣʿab ibn Saʿd and ʿAmr ibn Maymūn al-Awdī who said: Saʿd was... etc. It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī (2/316). and it was also narrated by Shaybān from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr from both of them with it. It was narrated by Ibn Khuzaymah in his "Ṣaḥīḥ" (1/367/746), and Ibn Ḥibbān (2022). and it was also narrated by ʿUbayd Allāh ibn ʿAmr al-Kūfī from ʿAbd al-Malik ibn ʿUmayr with it. It was narrated by al-Nasāʾī (8/266), and al-Tirmidhī (3567), who said: "This is a ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth from this perspective." and in the isnād of al-Nasāʾī, there is an addition of (Isrāʾīl) between (ʿAbd Allāh) and (ʿAbd al-Malik); which is an error. (Note): The wording of Shuʿbah in "Musnad al-Shāshī" differed in some of its segments; among them is that instead of "the trial of the world," it appeared as "the trial of the false Messiah"! This is an error from al-Shāshī's shaykh, Abū Qilābah ʿAbd al-Malik ibn Muḥammad. Likewise, the word "world" in the ḥadīth was altered by some of the ḥuffāẓ to "women," and I have clarified this in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (7050) in a manner not found elsewhere; and all praise is due to Allāh.
وتابعه إسرائيل عن عبد الملك بن عمير عن مصعب بن سعد وعمرو بن ميمون الأودي قال: كان سعد ... إلخ. أخرجه النسائي (٢/٣١٦). وتابعهما شيبان عن عبد الملك بن عمير عنهما به. أخرجه ابن خزيمة في "صحيحه " (١/٣٦٧/٧٤٦) ، وابن حبان (٢٠٢٢). وتابعهم عبيد الله بن عمرو الكوفي عن عبد الملك بن عمير به. أخرجه النسائي (٨/ ٢٦٦) ، والترمذي (٣٥٦٧) ، وقال:"هذا حديث حسن صحيح من هذا الوجه ". ووقع في إسناد النسائي زيادة (إسرائيل) بين (عبد الله) و (عبد الملك) ؛ وهي خطأ. (تنبيه) : اختلف لفظ شعبة في "مسند الشاشي " في بعض فقراته؛ ومن ذلك أنه وقع مكان: "فتنة الدنيا": "فتنة المسيح الدجال "! وهو خطأ من شيخ الشاشي أبي قلابة عبد الملك بن محمد. كما أن لفظة: "الدنيا" في الحديث تحرفت عند بعض الحفاظ إلى: "النساء"، وقد بينت ذلك في "الضعيفة" (٧٠٥٠) بما لا تراه في غيره؛ والحمد لله.

- (The deed closest to Allāh ﷿ is striving in the way of Allāh, and nothing compares to it; [except for one like this, and the Prophet ﷺ pointed to a person who does not tire from standing and fasting] ). It was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Tārīkh al-Kabīr" (2/2/152) through the route of Sālim ibn Ghaylān
- (أقربُ العملِ إلى الله ﷿: الجهاد في سبيل الله، ولا يقاربه شيء؛ [إلا من كان مثل هذا، وأشار النبيُّ ﷺ إلى قائم لا يفترُ من قيامٍ وصيامٍ] ) .أخرجه البخاري في "التاريخ الكبير" (٢/٢/١٥٢) من طريق سالم بن غيلان
