2- Ayyūb shortened his narration; he narrated it from Ibn Abī Mulaykah from Asmāʾ, without mentioning ʿAbbād: It was narrated in this manner by al-Tirmidhī (1960), Abū Dāwūd (1699), al-Nasāʾī in "al-Kubrā" (9192), ʿAbd al-Razzāq (20056), and Aḥmad (6/344 and 354) with the wording: "Spend and do not withhold; lest it be withheld from you." However, Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān and ʿAbd al-Jabbār ibn Ward followed him: It was narrated by Aḥmad (6/353) from Wakīʿ from them with similar wording. 3- There is a third route: It was narrated by al-Bukhārī (1433) from Ṣadaqah ibn al-Faḍl: ʿAbdah informed us from Hishām from Fāṭimah [bint al-Mundhir] from Asmāʾ (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) who said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to me: "Do not withhold; lest it be withheld from you." Then it was narrated by al-Bukhārī - subsequently - and al-Nasāʾī in "al-Kubrā" (9194) through two routes from ʿAbdah with the wording: "Do not count; lest Allāh count against you." It was narrated by Muslim (3/92), Aḥmad (6/345, 346, and 354), and through him: al-Mizzī in "Tahdhīb al-Kamāl" (14/13), al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (24/ no. 337, 338, and 339), and al-Bayhaqī (4/186-187) through various routes from Hishām with the wording: "Spend - or sprinkle, or give freely (1) - and do not count; lest Allāh count against you." This is the wording of Muslim, and it is similar in the other sources
