and it was also narrated by Abū Usāmah from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah in another form, combining ʿAbbād and Fāṭimah from Asmāʾ. Ibn Ḥibbān narrated it (3209) through the route of Abū Usāmah from Hishām ibn ʿUrwah from ʿAbbād ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr and Fāṭimah bint al-Mundhir from Asmāʾ bint Abī Bakr—who would count what she spent—; so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said to her: "Spend and do not count, lest Allāh count against you, and do not withhold, lest Allāh withhold from you." I said: Abū Usāmah is Ḥammād ibn Usāmah, one of the narrators of the six books; nevertheless, al-Ḥāfiẓ said about him in "al-Taqrīb": "Trustworthy and reliable, though he sometimes practiced tadlīs, and in his later years, he would narrate from the books of others." Aḥmad also narrated it (6/354)—and this addition is his—through Muḥammad ibn Bishr from Hishām from Fāṭimah from Asmāʾ as a marfūʿ narration. 4- Aḥmad also narrated it (6/346) through Muḥammad ibn Bishr from Hishām; but he made it: from Fāṭimah and ʿAbbād ibn Ḥamzah from Asmāʾ as a marfūʿ narration. It was narrated by Muslim (3/92), and al-Nasāʾī in "al-Ṣughrā" (5/73) and "al-Kubrā" (9195) through the route of Abū Muʿāwiyah al-Ḍarīr from Hishām in this manner. I said: And this ʿAbbād is the son of Ḥamzah ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr; he is also trustworthy.
