(ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic; all its narrators are reliable, the narrators of Muslim, and Abū al-Jawāb's name is al-Aḥwaṣ ibn Jawāb. He has been followed up, as Abū Dāwūd (5170) and Ibn Ḥibbān (1319) also narrated it through two other routes from ʿAmmār ibn Razīq with it. The ḥadīth has a corroborating narration from Ibn ʿAbbās, raised to the Prophet, similar to it. It was recorded by al-Ḍiyāʾ in "al-Mukhtārah" (64/25/2) and another from the narration of Buraydah ibn al-Ḥuṣayb with the wording: "He is not one of us who swears by trustworthiness, and whoever deceives a man regarding his wife or his slave is not one of us."
صلى الله عليه وسلم: فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد صحيح رجاله كلهم ثقات رجال مسلم، وأبو الجواب اسمه الأحوص بن جواب. وقد توبع، فأخرجه أبو داود (٥١٧٠) وابن حبان (١٣١٩) من طريقين آخرين عن عمار بن رزيق به. وللحديث شاهد من حديث ابن عباس مرفوعا نحوه. أخرجه الضياء في " المختارة " (٦٤ / ٢٥ / ٢) وآخر من رواية بريدة بن الحصيب بلفظ:" ليس منا من حلف بالأمانة ومن خبب على امرئ زوجته أو مملوكه، فليس منا ".
- "He is not one of us who swears by trustworthiness, and whoever deceives a man regarding his wife or his slave is not one of us." It was recorded by Aḥmad (5/352): Wakīʿ narrated to us, al-Walīd ibn Thaʿlabah narrated to us from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Buraydah from his father who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: he mentioned it. Ibn Ḥibbān (1318) also recorded it through the route of Wakīʿ with it, similar to it. I said: This isnād is authentic; all its narrators are reliable, the narrators of the two Shaykhs except for al-Walīd, who was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Maʿīn and Ibn Ḥibbān, and al-Mundhirī authenticated its isnād in "al-Targhīb" (3/93). (khabab) with an open khāʾ and a doubled bāʾ means to deceive and corrupt.
- " ليس منا من حلف بالأمانة، ومن خبب على امرئ زوجته أو مملوكه فليس منا ". أخرجه أحمد (٥ / ٣٥٢) : حدثنا وكيع حدثنا الوليد بن ثعلبة عن عبد الله بن بريدة عن أبيه قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: فذكره. وأخرجه ابن حبان (١٣١٨) من طريق وكيع به نحوه. قلت: وهذا سند صحيح رجاله كلهم ثقات رجال الشيخين غير الوليد هذا وقد وثقه ابن معين وابن حبان، وقد صحح إسناده المنذري في " الترغيب " (٣ / ٩٣) . (خبب) بفتح الخاء المعجمة وتشديد الباء الموحدة الأولى معناه خدع وأفسد.
