al-Mizzī commented in "Tuḥfat al-Ashrāf" (1/201) on al-Nasāʾī's narration from Anas by saying: "A group narrated it from Ḥumayd, and they added to the isnād: ʿUbādah." It has a corroborating narration from al-Falatan ibn ʿĀṣim: narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Kabīr" (18/334 and 335/857 and 860), al-Bazzār (3384 - Zawāʾid), Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (2/514-515), and Ibn Abī ʿĀṣim in "al-Āḥād wa-al-Mathānī" (1040) - both in abbreviated form - through various chains from ʿĀṣim ibn Kulayb from his father from al-Falatan ... mentioning it in a similar manner. al-Haythamī said in "al-Majmaʿ" (1) (3/178): "al-Ṭabarānī narrated it in 'al-Kabīr', and its men are the men of (the Ṣaḥīḥ)!" And he said (7/348): "al-Bazzār narrated it, and its men are trustworthy!" I say: There are two observations on this: the first: that Kulayb was not included by the authors of "the Ṣaḥīḥ" at all! The second: that ʿĀṣim is considered truthful - just so; as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb". Thus, the isnād is ḥasan. *
