- "Indeed, no prophet is taken until he is shown his place in Paradise, then he is given the choice." Narrated by al-Bukhārī (4463) - and this wording is his -, and (4437), and Muslim (7/137-138), and Aḥmad (6/89) from the path of ʿUrwah and Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib that ʿĀʾishah said: The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) used to say while he was healthy: ... and she mentioned it. When it [the final illness] befell him - and his head was on my thigh - he lost consciousness, then he regained it, and he fixed his gaze on the ceiling of the house, then said: "O Allāh! [To] the Highest Companion." I said: Then, he will not choose us, and I knew it was the ḥadīth he used to tell us when he was healthy. She said: So the last words he spoke were: "O Allāh! [To] the Highest Companion." *

- "Indeed, a great fat man will come on the Day of Resurrection, and he will not weigh with Allāh the wing of a mosquito." Narrated by al-Bukhārī (4729) - and this wording is his -, and from his path: al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (4327), and Muslim (8/25) from the path of Abū al-Zinād from al-Aʿraj from Abū Hurayrah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) ... and he mentioned it. And he said: Recite: "So We shall not assign to them on the Day of Resurrection any weight." (Sūrah al-Kahf, verse 105) Al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Ḥajar said in "al-Fatḥ" (8/426) commenting on his saying: "Recite": "The speaker could be the Companion, or it is raised from the rest of the ḥadīth."
