and he was followed by Nuʿaym ibn Abī Hind from Ribʿī ibn Ḥirāsh with a similar narration. It was recorded by Muslim and al-Muḥāmilī (312). Abū Mālik al-Ashjaʿī also followed them from Ribʿī with a similar narration, and added: "If anyone encounters it, let him go to the river he sees as fire, close his eyes, then lower his head and drink from it; for it is cold water. The Dajjāl is one-eyed, with a thick membrane over his eye, and between his eyes is written: Disbeliever, which every believer, literate or illiterate, will be able to read." It was recorded by Muslim and Ibn Abī Shaybah (19318). Manṣūr also followed them from Ribʿī with a similar narration, stopping at this point, and included the addition in the wording: Abū Masʿūd al-Badrī said: This is how I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say. It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (4315). *
وتابعه نعيم بن أبي هند عن ربعي بن حراش به مثله.أخرجه مسلم، والمحاملي (٣١٢) .وتابعهما أبو مالك الأشجعي عن ربعي به نحوه، وزاد:"فإما أدركن أحدٌ؛ فليأت النهر الذي يراه ناراً، وليغمض ثم ليطأطئ رأسه فيشرب منه؛ فإنه ماء بارد. وإن الدجال ممسوح العين؛ عليها ظفرة غليظة، مكتوب بين عينيه: كافر، يقرؤه كل مؤمن؛ كاتب وغير كاتب ".أخرجه مسلم، وابن أبي شيبة (١٩٣١٨) .وتابعهم منصور عن ربعي به نحوه موقوفاً وفيه الزيادة بلفظ:قال أبو مسعود البدري: هكذا سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول.أخرجه أبو داود (٤٣١٥) . *
- (Indeed, Allāh made Makkah sacred, and the people did not make it sacred, so it is not permissible for anyone who believes in Allāh and the Last Day to shed blood in it, nor to cut down a tree in it; if anyone argues for fighting the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in it, then say: Allāh permitted His Messenger and did not permit you, and He only permitted me in it for an hour of the day, then its sanctity returned today as it was yesterday, and let the present convey to the absent). It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (104, 1832, 4295), Muslim (4/110), al-Tirmidhī (809), al-Nasāʾī (2/32), al-Bayhaqī (7/60, 9/212), and Aḥmad (4/31, 6/385). Al-Tirmidhī said: "A ḥadīth that is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ." *
- (إنّ مكة حرّمها الله ولم يحرّمها الناس، فلا يحلّ لامرئ يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر أن يسفك بها دماً، ولا يعضد بها شجرة؛ فإن أحدٌ ترخّص لقتال رسول الله ﷺ فيها؛ فقولوا: إنّ الله قد أذن لرسوله ولم يأذن لكم، وإنما أذن لي فيها ساعةً من نهار، ثم عادت حرمتها اليوم كحرمتها بالأمس، وليبلغ الشاهدُ الغائب) .أخرجه البخاري (١٠٤ و ١٨٣٢ و٤٢٩٥) ، ومسلم (٤/١١٠) ، والترمذي (٨٠٩) ، والنسائي (٢/ ٣٢) ، والبيهقي (٧/٦٠ و٩/٢١٢) ، وأحمد (٤/ ٣١ و ٦/ ٣٨٥) . وقال الترمذي:"حديث حسن صحيح ". *
