Among them: from Jābir through various chains from him, similar to the ḥadīth of Anas. It was recorded by Muslim (2/131), Abū ʿAwānah (1/387), Ibn Ḥibbān (2040), and Aḥmad (3/332, 371, 390).

"Indeed, Ibrāhīm sanctified Makkah and prayed for it, and I have sanctified Madīnah just as Ibrāhīm sanctified Makkah, and I have prayed for it in its measurements and its sāʿ, just as Ibrāhīm (peace be upon him) prayed for Makkah." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (2129), Muslim (4/112), al-Bayhaqī (5/197), and Aḥmad (4/40), all from the route of ʿAbbād ibn Tamīm al-Anṣārī from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Zayd (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), who said: ... and he mentioned it. It was also narrated by Muslim, al-Bayhaqī (5/197, 198), and Aḥmad (4/141) from the ḥadīth of Rāfiʿ ibn Khadīj in a shortened form with the wording: "Indeed, Ibrāhīm sanctified Makkah, and I sanctify what is between its two lava tracts"—meaning Madīnah. Muslim also recorded it (4/118) from the ḥadīth of Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī with similar wording.

"Indeed, the most pious and knowledgeable of you about Allāh is me." It was recorded by al-Bukhārī (20) and Aḥmad (6/56, 61) from the ḥadīth of Hishām ibn ʿUrwah from his father, from ʿĀʾishah, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) when he commanded them, he commanded them with actions they could bear. They said: We are not like you, O Messenger of Allāh! Indeed, Allāh has forgiven you your past and future sins!
