the second: to say on his right: "Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allāh," and on his left: "Peace be upon you." the third: similar to the previous except that he also adds in the second: "and the mercy of Allāh." the fourth: similar to the previous, except that he adds in the first taslīmah "and His blessings." All of this is established in the ḥadīths, and I have mentioned their sources in "The Description of the Prayer of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam)," so whoever wishes may refer to it.

"When you return to your home, instruct them to improve the feeding of their livestock and instruct them to trim their nails so that they do not harm the udders of their cattle when they milk them." It was narrated by Imām Aḥmad (3/484) who said: Abū al-Naḍr narrated to us, al-Marjī ibn Rajāʾ al-Yashkurī said: Salm ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān narrated to me, he said: I heard Suwādah ibn al-Rabīʿ say: I came to the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and asked him, so he ordered for me a small herd, then he said to me: and he mentioned it. This is a good chain: Abū al-Naḍr is Hāshim ibn al-Qāsim, a reliable and trustworthy narrator, and al-Marjī and Salm ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān are truthful as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," and there is some discussion about al-Marjī which does not harm, if Allāh wills, and for this reason, al-Haythamī strengthened it where he said: (8/196) Aḥmad narrated it and its chain is good.

"There is no negligence in prayer, nor in taslīm." It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (928) and al-Ḥākim (1/264), both from Imām Aḥmad, and this is in "al-Musnad" (2/461) and al-Ṭaḥāwī in "Mushkil al-Āthār" (2/229) from
