"bring me something to tie its head, and I will make it easy for you." So he brought a halter, tied its head, and made it easy for him. Then they walked to the far end of the wall to the other camel, and when it saw him, it prostrated to him. He said to the man, "bring me something to tie its head." So he tied its head and made it easy for him, and he said, "go, for they will not disobey you." When the Companions of the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) saw that, they said, "O Messenger of Allāh! These two camels, which have no understanding, prostrated to you; should we not prostrate to you?" He said: ... and he mentioned it. I said: This is a good isnād, all its narrators are trustworthy and well-known, and here is the clarification: 1 - ʿIkrimah - who is the freedman of Ibn ʿAbbās -; a reliable and firm narrator from the two Shaykhs, too well-known to be mentioned. 2 - Abū Yazīd al-Madīnī; a trustworthy narrator, al-Bukhārī narrated from him, as in "al-Kāshif." As for the statement of al-Ḥāfiẓ about him: "acceptable"! It is rejected! How not, when Ibn Maʿīn and Aḥmad have declared him trustworthy, and al-Bukhārī has narrated from him?! 3 - Abū ʿAzzah al-Dabbāgh, his name is al-Ḥakam ibn Ṭuhmān, and he is trustworthy, a group including Ibn Ḥibbān have declared him trustworthy. «ائتني بشيء أشد به رأسه، وأمكنك منه» . فجاء بخِطام، فشد به رأسه وأمكنه منه. ثم مشيا إلى أقصى الحائط إلى الفحل الآخر، فلما رآه؛ وقع له ساجداً، فقال للرجل:«ائتني بشيء أشد به رأسه» . فشد رأسه، وأمكنه منه، وقال:«اذهب؛ فإنهما لا يعصيانك» . فلما رأى أصحاب النبي ﷺ ذلك «قالوا: يا رسول الله! هذان فحلان لا يعقلان سجدا لك؛ أفلا نسجد لك؟ قال: ... فذكره. قلت: وهذا إسناد جيد، رجاله كلهم ثقات معروفون، وإليك البيان:١ - عكرمة - وهو مولى ابن عباس-؛ ثقة ثبت من رجال الشيخين، أشهر من أن يذكر. ٢ - أبو يزيد المديني؛ ثقة روى له البخاري؛ كما في «الكاشف» . وأما قول الحافظ فيه:«مقبول» !فهو مرفوض! كيف لا وقد وثقه ابن معين وأحمد، وروى له البخاري؟! ٣- أبو عَزَّة الدباغ، اسمه الحكم بن طهمان، وهو ثقة، وثقه جماعة منهم ابن حبان. انظر «تيسير الانتفاع» .
