It was recorded by Aḥmad (1/394 and 418), al-Nasāʾī (11531 - al-Kubrā), Ibn Khuzaymah also, as well as Ibn Jarīr, al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (9/245/9050), Abū al-Shaykh (2/766/341), and Ibn Mandah in "al-Īmān" (2/731/751). This is an isnād according to the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim; except for the confusion of Abū Isḥāq and his use of ʿanʿanah, and Isrāʾīl heard from him after the confusion. However, in a narration by Ibn Mandah (752), Sufyān followed him from Abū Isḥāq with it. And Sufyān — who is al-Thawrī — heard from him before the confusion. There is another chain from Ibn Masʿūd; narrated by Shuʿbah, Sufyān also, and others: with Ibn Khuzaymah, al-Ṭabarānī (9051 and 9053), Ibn Mandah (747-750), and Aḥmad also (1/449), and the wording of Ibn Khuzaymah: he saw a green silk filling the horizon of the sky. Its isnād is authentic. There is supporting evidence from the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "I saw Gabriel descending, filling what was between the heaven and the earth, wearing garments of fine silk, adorned with pearls and rubies." It was recorded by Aḥmad (6/120): narrated to us by ʿAffān: narrated to us by Ḥammād who said: ʿAṭāʾ ibn al-Sāʾib informed us from al-Shaʿbī from Masrūq from her. From this route, it was also recorded by Abū al-Shaykh (number 343). Its isnād is authentic; if Ḥammād — who is Ibn Salamah — heard it from ʿAṭāʾ before the confusion, otherwise; it is a strong supporting evidence for what preceded
