yes; this wording: "the curse of Allāh" has indeed been narrated from Ibn Masʿūd and others as a marfūʿ ḥadīth, and from Abū Bakr al-Ṣiddīq as a mawqūf ḥadīth, which is the more correct view; as I have verified in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" (6867). on this occasion, it is appropriate for me to mention that al-Ḥāfiẓ al-Mundhirī included the ḥadīth—without the story—from the narrations of Muslim and al-Nasāʾī, then said (3/140/34): "And Abū ʿAwānah narrated it in his 'Ṣaḥīḥ' and said in it ... ". I said: he mentioned the second part which includes: "the curse of Allāh," and remained silent about it! How unfortunate; because it gave the impression that it is authentic, and from the Musnad of ʿĀʾishah, all of which is incorrect; because it is weak, rejected, and muʿḍal as previously mentioned, so be alert and insightful, and do not be a follower like the three commentators who speak without knowledge and authenticate without understanding! And Allāh is the one whose help is sought. with this, the discussion on the first path concludes. the second path: from Jaʿfar ibn Burqān from ʿAbd Allāh al-Bahī from ʿĀʾishah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā) as a marfūʿ ḥadīth in a concise form: "O Allāh! Whoever is gentle with my ummah, be gentle with him, and whoever is harsh on them, be harsh on him." this isnād is good according to the criteria of Muslim, and it was recorded by Aḥmad in "al-Musnad" (6/62 and 260). the third path: from Muḥammad ibn Ādam al-Muṣṣīṣī who said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us from Sufyān al-Thawrī from Jaʿfar ibn Burqān from ʿAbd Allāh ibn Dīnār from her with it. it was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (7/465/6911), and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (2/881/2155). and al-Ṭabarānī said: "No one narrated it from Sufyān except Ibn al-Mubārak."
