"If you were to rely upon Allāh with true reliance, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds; they go out in the morning hungry and return in the evening full." This was recorded by Aḥmad (1/30), al-Tirmidhī (2/55 - Būlāq), and al-Ḥākim (4/318) from Ḥaywah ibn Shurayḥ: Bakr ibn ʿAmr informed me that he heard ʿAbd Allāh ibn Hubayrah say: he heard Abū Tamīm al-Jayshānī say he heard ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu) say: he heard the Prophet of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: and he mentioned it. Al-Tirmidhī said: "This ḥadīth is ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ." Al-Ḥākim said: "Its isnād is ṣaḥīḥ," and al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: Rather, it is ṣaḥīḥ according to the criteria of Muslim, for its narrators are those of the two Shaykhs except for Ibn Hubayrah and Abū Tamīm, who are only from the narrators of Muslim. Ibn Lahīʿah also followed him from Ibn Hubayrah with it. It was recorded by Aḥmad (1/52) and Ibn Mājah (4164), and with him, it is from the narration of ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb from him. Thus, the isnād is also ṣaḥīḥ.
"All people will be brought to the Fire, then they will depart from it according to their deeds. The first of them will pass like a flash of lightning, then like the wind, then like a galloping horse, then like a rider, then like a running man, then like their walking." This was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (2/198) and al-Dārimī (2/329), with the last addition for both of them, as well as al-Ḥākim (2/375 and 4/586) with the context belonging to him, Aḥmad (1/435), and Abū Yaʿlá
