"Mūsá ibn Ismāʿīl and the people of his town narrated from him." al-Bukhārī said in "al-Tārīkh": ".. Mūsá ibn Ismāʿīl, and Muslim." It appears that he means: Muslim al-Farāhīdī; for he is from his town: Basra. al-Mundhirī did not recognize him; he said in "al-Targhīb" (1/211/15): "It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī, and its isnād does not come to mind for me now!" *

- (Whoever builds a mosque for Allāh, Allāh will build for him a house in Paradise larger than it). It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (8/267-268/7889) through the route of ʿUthmān ibn Abī al-ʿĀtikah from ʿAlī ibn Yazīd from al-Qāsim from Abū Umāmah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is very weak; ʿAlī ibn Yazīd—who is al-Alhānī—is weak. And ʿUthmān ibn Abī al-ʿĀtikah; he is truthful, but they weakened him in his narration from this al-Alhānī, as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Taqrīb." However, it has two supporting narrations from ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr and Asmāʾ bint Yazīd ibn al-Sakan. As for the ḥadīth of Ibn ʿAmr, it is narrated by al-Ḥajjāj from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb from his father from his grandfather from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) with it. It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/221). And its narrators are trustworthy, so it is a good isnād; except that al-Ḥajjāj—who is Ibn Arṭāh—is a mudallis;
