It was recorded by Aḥmad (2/196), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Daʿawāt" (1/number 30). I say: Its chain of transmission is good. It has a sound corroborating narration from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah, with an addition at the end: "Say it when you wake up in the morning, when you go to bed in the evening, and when you lie down to sleep." Its detailed documentation has already been mentioned (2753 and 2763). In summary, the ḥadīth from Ibn ʿAmr is authentic through these routes and the corroborating narration.*

- (Whoever says when he goes to his bed: All praise is due to Allāh who has sufficed me and sheltered me. All praise is due to Allāh who has fed me and given me drink. All praise is due to Allāh who has bestowed upon me and favored me. O Allāh! I ask You by Your might to save me from the Fire; he has indeed praised Allāh with all the praises of all creation.) It was recorded by al-Ḥākim (1/545-546), Ibn al-Sunnī in "ʿAmal al-Yawm wa-al-Laylah" (229/714), and al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (4/93/4382) through various chains from Mūsá ibn Ismāʿīl: Khālaf ibn al-Mundhir narrated to us: Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Muzanī narrated to us from Anas ibn Mālik who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. Al-Ḥākim said: "Its chain of transmission is authentic." Al-Dhahabī agreed with him. I say: Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs, except for Khālaf ibn al-Mundhir, who was mentioned by Ibn Ḥibbān in "al-Thiqāt" (6/271), and he said:
