among them is what al-Bazzār himself narrated through the chain of Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq from Muḥammad ibn Jaʿfar ibn al-Rubayr from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah, who said: the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) went out and led the people in prayer, then advised the people with good, then said: "As for what follows..." the ḥadīth is similar but abridged. And al-Haythamī said: "It was narrated by al-Bazzār, and its men are the men of (the Ṣaḥīḥ)!" Thus he said! And there is known leniency from him; for Ibn Isḥāq was only narrated by Muslim as a follow-up, in addition to the fact that he is a mudallis, and he narrated it with ʿanʿanah. And even more lenient than that is the statement of al-Ḥāfiẓ in "al-Mukhtaṣar" (2/372): "I said: It is a ṣaḥīḥ isnād according to me!" Unless he meant it is ṣaḥīḥ due to other factors! And this is unlikely. And Allāh knows best. among them: from Anas ibn Mālik who said: Abū Bakr passed by a gathering of the Anṣār while they were weeping, so he said: Why are you weeping?! They said: We remembered the gathering of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) among us, so he entered upon the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) and informed him of that. So the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) went out; he ascended the pulpit, and he did not ascend it after that day, praised Allāh and extolled Him, then said: "I advise you regarding the Anṣār; for they are my inner circle and my trusted ones, and they have fulfilled what was upon them, and what remains is for them, so accept from their good-doers and overlook their wrong-doers." It was narrated by al-Bukhārī (3799), and al-Nasāʾī in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" (5/91/8346). among them: from Abū Qatādah al-Anṣārī who said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say on the pulpit to the Anṣār:
