and al-Bukhārī's narration! There is another error that is not worth mentioning. The other: the aforementioned witness from the ḥadīth of Thābit ibn al-Ḍaḥḥāk; it was produced by al-Baghawī in "Sharḥ al-Sunnah" (10/154/2524) as a separate sentence from what precedes and follows it, and he said: "A ṣaḥīḥ ḥadīth produced by Muslim"! He missed that it is also in "al-Bukhārī," just as the commentator missed it, attributing it only to al-Shāfiʿī and Muslim! This; the phrase "plunging" was altered by some weak narrators to: "Whoever plunges in the world; he plunges into the Fire." Therefore, I included it in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" under number (4576). *

- "Do not disdain any act of kindness, even if it is giving a piece of rope, or pouring from your bucket into the container of the one drawing water, or meeting your Muslim brother with a cheerful face, or comforting the lonely with yourself, or giving a shoelace." It was produced by al-Nasāʾī in "al-Sunan al-Kubrā" (5/486-478/9694) through the route of Sahm ibn al-Muʿtamir from al-Hujaymī: that he came to Medina, and met the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) in some alleys of Medina, and he encountered him; and he was wearing a cotton waist wrap (1) with its edge frayed, and he said: Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allāh!
