and here a question arises, as it is said today: what drove these individuals to discard most of the ḥadīths they authenticated from what they called "the refinement"?! There is no doubt that the answer is clear to anyone with insight, which is to reduce the size of the book and to deceive people into thinking that they have compiled the authentic ḥadīths of "encouragement" into a single volume, prompting them to purchase it! And Allāh knows best what is in their hearts! Even if we assume their sincerity in this work and in "encouragement," that does not justify their actions; because they are not among the people of knowledge, and we have presented dozens of examples, some of which are both laughable and lamentable at the same time! The ḥadīth of the translation is one of those examples; they did not improve its isnād, which is considered good by scholars, and even by beginners in this field. Then they deemed it good due to its supporting narrations—though it has no supporting narration at all as previously mentioned—and it is among the thousands of those ḥadīths they discarded! May Allāh guide them. *
وهنا سؤال يطرح نفسه- كما يقال اليوم-: ما الذي حمل هؤلاء على طرح أكثر الأحاديث التي صححوها مما سموه بـ "التهذيب"؟! لا شك أن الجواب واضح لكل ذي بصيرة، وهو تصغير حجم الكتاب وإيهام الناس أنه جمع أحاديث "الترغيب" الصحيحة في مجلد واحد، فيقبلون على شرائه! والله أعلم بما في قلوبهم! على أننا لو فرضنا فيهم الإخلاص في عملهم هذا وفي "الترغيب"؛ فذلك مما لا يسوغ لهم عملهم؛ لأنهم ليسوا من أهل العلم، وقد قدمنا عشرات الأمثلة، وبعضها مضحك مُبكٍ في آن واحد! وحديث الترجمة من تلك الأمثلة، فلم يحسّنوا إسناده، وهو حسن عند العلماء، بل وعند المبتدئين في هذا العلم، ثم حسنوه لشواهده- ولا شاهد له ولا واحد كما تقدم-، ثم هو من تلك الألوف من تلك الأحاديث التي طرحوها! هداهم الله. *

- "Welcome to you, O House, how great you are, and how great is your sanctity! Yet the believer is greater in sanctity before Allāh than you. Allāh has made one thing forbidden from you, but He has made three things forbidden from the believer: his blood, his wealth, and that he be suspected of evil." It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (5/296-297/6706) through two chains from Ḥafṣ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān from Shibl from Ibn Abī Najīḥ from Mujāhid from Ibn ʿAbbās who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) looked at the Kaʿbah and said: "How great is your sanctity!" And in the other chain:
- (مرحباً بكِ من بيتٍ، ما أعظمَكِ، وأعظمَ حرمَتَكِ! وللمؤمنُ أعظمُ حرمةً عند اللهِ منكِ، إن اللهَ حرّم منكِ واحدةَّ، وحرّمَ مِنَ المؤمنِ ثلاثاً: دمَه، ومالَه، وأن يُظَنَّ به ظنُّ السُّوءِ). أخرجه البيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (٥/٢٩٦-٢٩٧/٦٧٠٦) من طريقين عن حفص بن عبد الرحمن عن شبل عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد عن ابن عباس قال: نظر رسول الله ﷺ إلى الكعبة فقال: "ما أعظم حرمتك!". وفي الطريق الأخرى:
