- "You have asked Allāh by His greatest name, which, when He is called upon by it, He responds, and when He is asked by it, He gives." It was recorded by Ibn Abī Shaybah in "al-Muṣannaf" (10/272/9410), and by Aḥmad (3/120), who both said: Wakīʿ narrated to us: Abū Khuzaymah narrated to me from Anas ibn Sīrīn from Anas ibn Mālik: that the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) heard a man saying: "O Allāh! All praise is due to You, there is no deity except You, alone without partner, the Benefactor, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Possessor of majesty and honor!" The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) then said: ... and he mentioned it. Through the route of Wakīʿ: it was recorded by Ibn Mājah (3858). I say: This is a good isnād, its men are trustworthy, the men of the two Shaykhs; except for Abū Khuzaymah, about whom Abū Ḥātim said: "There is no harm in him." Ibn Ḥibbān mentioned him in "al-Thiqāt" (6/465), and named him: (Ṣāliḥ ibn Mirdās) and a group of trustworthy preservers narrated from him, and al-Dhahabī and al-Ḥāfiẓ said: "Truthful." He has two other routes: one of them is narrated by Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq: ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Muslim narrated to me from Ibrāhīm ibn ʿUbayd ibn Rifāʿah from Anas with it, without his saying: "alone without partner."
