It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (6/289-290). However, Abān is abandoned; and al-Haythamī said (1/301): "Shuʿbah, Aḥmad, and others weakened him, while Salm al-ʿAlawī and others considered him reliable." (Note): Ashʿath ibn Ashʿath; this is how it appears in all the previous sources, except in "al-Lisān," where it is: (Ashʿath ibn Abī Ashʿath) with the addition of: (Abī) between them! This is a typographical error; it should be corrected. *

- (Whoever prays the morning prayer in congregation, then sits remembering Allāh until the sun rises, then prays two rakʿahs; it will be for him like the reward of a complete, complete, complete ḥajj and ʿumrah). It was recorded by al-Tirmidhī (586), and al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (2/790/1930) through the route of Abū Ẓalāl from Anas ibn Mālik who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said... and he mentioned it. Al-Tirmidhī said: "A ḥasan gharīb ḥadīth; and I asked Muḥammad ibn Ismāʿīl (meaning: Imām al-Bukhārī) about Abū Ẓalāl? He said: He is unreliable in ḥadīth, and his name is Hilāl." I said: However, the majority are inclined to weaken him, and therefore al-Dhahabī said in his book "al-Mughnī": "They weakened him." And he said similarly in "al-Kāshif," adding: "except Ibn Ḥibbān."
