and it was narrated by ʿAbd al-Razzāq (11/142/21047) through the route of Qarah from ʿAwn ibn ʿAbd Allāh as a mawqūf report. And it was narrated by Abū Nuʿaym in "al-Ḥilyah" (4/248) through the route of Yazīd ibn Hārūn from al-Masʿūdī from ʿAwn... and he mentioned it also as a mawqūf report. ********

- (The people most deserving of Allāh are those who initiate the greeting of peace). It is from the ḥadīth of Abū Umāmah (raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhu), and there are several routes from him: The first is from Abū Khālid Wahb from Abū Sufyān al-Ḥimṣī from Abū Umāmah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (9715), and through his route by al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (6/433/8787). I say: Its isnād is authentic, its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of al-Bukhārī; except for Abū Khālid Wahb—who is Ibn Khālid al-Ḥimṣī—and he is trustworthy without dispute. And his teacher Abū Sufyān al-Ḥimṣī; his name is Muḥammad ibn Ziyād al-Alhānī. And there is another abbreviated route from him; Ibn Abī Shaybah said in "al-Muṣannaf" (8/435/5788): Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh from Muḥammad ibn Ziyād al-Alhānī from Abū Umāmah who said: Our Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) commanded us to spread peace. And through the route of Ibn Abī Shaybah: it was recorded by Ibn Mājah (3693), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Kabīr" (8/131/7525), and it was narrated through two other routes from Ismāʿīl ibn ʿAyyāsh with it.
