1- as for the ḥadīth of Anas, it is narrated by Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād al-Qurashī from Abū Ḥāzim from him. It was recorded by al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (2/242/1764) and "al-Ṣaghīr" (p. 23 - Hind); he said: "No one narrated it from Abū Ḥāzim Salamah ibn Dīnār al-Zāhid except Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād, and it is not narrated from Anas except through this isnād." From this chain, it was also recorded by al-Aṣbahānī in "al-Targhīb" (2/626-627/1498); and the addition is his. I said: Its narrators are trustworthy, except for this al-Qurashī; he is unknown. Al-Mundhirī said in "al-Targhīb" (3/77): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its narrators are relied upon in the 'Ṣaḥīḥ', except for Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād al-Qurashī; for I have not found any criticism or praise regarding him. This text has also been narrated from Ibn ʿAbbās, Kaʿb ibn ʿUjrah, and others." Al-Haythamī said (4/312): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Ṣaghīr' and 'al-Awsaṭ', and in it is Ibrāhīm ibn Ziyād al-Qurashī, al-Bukhārī said: 'His ḥadīth is not authentic.'" If he intended to weaken him, there is no issue, but if he meant a specific ḥadīth, he did not mention it, and as for the rest of its narrators, they are the narrators of (the Ṣaḥīḥ)!" I said: Al-Bukhārī only said regarding this Ibrāhīm: "His isnād is not authentic."
