- (Three whose supplications Allāh does not reject: one who remembers Allāh abundantly, the supplication of the oppressed, and the just leader). Narrated by al-Bazzār (4/39/3140 - Kashf al-Astār), and al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (1/419/588 and 6/11/7358) through various chains from Ḥumayd ibn al-Aswad: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Saʿīd ibn Abī Hind narrated to us from Sharīk ibn Abī Namr from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār who said: I heard Abū Hurayrah from the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) say: ... and he mentioned it. I say: This isnād is good, its men are trustworthy, the men of the two Shaykhs [al-Bukhārī and Muslim]; except for Ḥumayd ibn al-Aswad, for al-Bukhārī narrated from him in conjunction as in "Muqaddimah al-Fatḥ"; there is slight criticism about him that does not harm, and his ḥadīth does not fall below the rank of ḥasan, if Allāh wills. (Note): Al-Haythamī only quoted the first part of the ḥadīth, he quoted it following the ḥadīth before it with the wording: "Three for whom it is incumbent upon Allāh not to reject their supplication: the fasting person until he breaks his fast, the oppressed until he is victorious, and the traveler until he returns." And in its isnād is Ibrāhīm ibn Khuthaym, who is abandoned; so he followed it with the ḥadīth of the chapter with the wording: "Three whose supplications are not rejected: one who remembers Allāh ... I said, and he mentioned something similar"! I said: It gave the impression that its completion is similar in meaning, and the difference is as you see.
