he has ignored these scientific, historical, and factual truths: that veterinarian (Ismāʿīl Manṣūr al-Miṣrī), and with his profound ignorance and stubborn opposition to the sunnah, he interpreted the wealth in the ḥadīth in its general sense! He then compounded his ignorance by denying the ḥadīth and mocking those who affirm it and believe in its authenticity, saying: "The simplest test to expose the falsehood of this ḥadīth is to ask those who believe in it: Have you found a single instance in the world where the deceased is followed by his wealth?? (!) We want a scientific and realistic answer, for we have neither seen nor heard of a single deceased person—in the history of humanity—whose wealth followed him as he headed to the grave...," and so on with his nonsense spanning two full pages, concluding with: "It is the myth crafted by tales, night stories, old women's imaginations, the wishes of the naive, and the fantasies of the common folk"!! And I say: I have been—and still am—complaining about the deviation of al-Saqqāf and Ḥassān and their likes from the sunnah, and their weakening of authentic ḥadīths, but when I reviewed the words of this veterinarian doctor, I almost forgot their transgressions against the sunnah! I have no doubt that someone like him can only be one of two types of men; either an agent for a party hostile to Islam, employing some of the weak in faith to fight Islam in the name of Islam, or an ignorant fool who thinks he possesses some knowledge and understanding, while in reality, he is among those who "think they are doing good work," or among those of whom Allāh said: "They have hearts with which they do not understand..." And although this verse is intended for the disbelievers and polytheists, it also applies significantly to those Muslims who follow their path in criticizing the ḥadīths, like the Muʿtazilah of old and their modern followers, such as this veterinarian, for how could it not, when he approaches authentic ḥadīths that all Muslim scholars unanimously agree upon and accept, only to invalidate them with his compounded ignorance, thus falling under the warning of Allāh's words: "And whoever..
