that this was part of it, and that he confused it with the ḥadīth of the chapter, especially since the most reliable of the scholars, al-ʿAsqalānī, denies this, and he is later than that part; and Allāh knows best. There is another chain for the ḥadīth; it is narrated by Zayd ibn Ḥubāb who said: Khārijah ibn ʿAbd Allāh informed me, saying: Yazīd ibn Rumān narrated to me from ʿUrwah from ʿĀʾishah who said: The Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) was sitting, and we heard noise and the voices of children; so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) stood up, and there was an Abyssinian woman dancing with the children around her, so he said: "O ʿĀʾishah! Come and see." So I came, and I placed my chin on the shoulder of the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), and I began to watch her from between his shoulder and his head. He said to me: "Have you not had enough?" I kept saying: No; to see my position with him, when ʿUmar appeared, and the people dispersed from her, so the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "I see the devils of jinn and humans have fled from ʿUmar." She said: So I returned. I said: It was recorded by al-Nasāʾī (5/309/8957), and al-Tirmidhī (3691), who said: "A ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ gharīb ḥadīth from this route." I said: Its isnād is ḥasan, its narrators are the narrators of Muslim; except for Khārijah ibn ʿAbd Allāh, who is truthful but has errors as mentioned in "al-Taqrīb," and it was also authenticated by Ibn Shāhīn in the book "al-Sunnah.. Faḍāʾil al-ʿAsharah" number (140 - my copy)
