and this is a strong corroboration; Ibn Fuḍayl is Muḥammad ibn Fuḍayl ibn Ghazwān, a reliable authority cited in the "Ṣaḥīḥayn," so there remains no weakness in the isnād except for Layth. However, it is supported by the ḥadīth of Darāj from Abū al-Haytham from Abū Saʿīd al-Khudrī, elevated [to the Prophet] with the wording: "Any Muslim man who does not have charity should say in his supplication: O Allāh! Send blessings upon Muḥammad, Your servant and messenger, and upon the believing men and women, and the Muslim men and women, for it is a form of charity." Ibn Ḥibbān authenticated it (913 - al-Muʾassasah) and so did al-Ḥākim; however, Darāj is weak in his narration from Abū al-Haytham, and it is cited in "al-Taʿlīq al-Raghīb" (2/281). As for the phrase about al-Wasīlah, it has many supporting narrations, the most authentic being the ḥadīth of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, elevated [to the Prophet]: "When you hear the caller [to prayer], say as he says, then send blessings upon me, for whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allāh will send blessings upon him tenfold, then ask Allāh to grant me al-Wasīlah..."
