A group differed with him in its wording; among them: Mālik, who narrated it—as mentioned earlier from al-Tirmidhī—from Saʿīd al-Maqburī with the wording: "Whoever has wronged his brother, let him seek his forgiveness, for there is no dinar or dirham there..." the ḥadīth; it does not contain: "May Allāh have mercy on a servant."
