such was said! And it is strange that al-Dhahabī said in his "Talkhīṣ": "Authentic"! This contradicts his inclusion of it in "al-Mughnī," where he said: "Aḥmad and others said: His ḥadīths are objectionable, and Ibn Maʿīn deemed him reliable, while al-Dāraqutnī abandoned him." I say: His ḥadīths support Aḥmad's statement about him, including the ḥadīth: "Mention Allāh frequently until they say: Madman." It is referenced in "al-Ḍaʿīfah" under number (517). I say: This ḥadīth is also objectionable; as it contradicts all the ḥadīths of the chapter in its wording: "mention frequently," and in its additions at the end: "and there is no power..." (Note): Ibn Ḥibbān deviated from all the authors of the mentioned sources, as he did not include the phrase: "the creed" in the ḥadīth. Then I saw in "al-Musnad" (4/267-268) through the route of a man from the Anṣār from the family of al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr, from al-Nuʿmān ibn Bashīr, raised [to the Prophet], with the wording: "Indeed! And 'Subḥān Allāh'... they are the enduring good deeds." Its narrators are trustworthy, except for the man who was not named. In summary; the ḥadīth is authentic due to its corroborating reports, and in terms of meaning, it is clearer than them; because it agrees with the correct interpretation of His saying, the Exalted: "But the enduring good deeds are better with your Lord for reward and better for hope" (Sūrah al-Kahf, 46). Ibn Jarīr mentioned several interpretations in his exegesis
كذا قال! ومن الغريب أن الذهبي قال في "تلخيصه ":"صحيح "! وهو ينافي إيراده إياه في "المغني "، وقوله فيه:"قال أحمد وغيره: أحاديثه مناكير، ووثقه ابن معين، وتركه الدارقطني ". قلت: وأحاديثه تشهد لقول أحمد فيه، ومنها حديث:"أكثروا ذكر الله حتى يقولوا: مجنون ". وهو مخرج في "الضعيفة" برقم (٥١٧) . قلت: وهذا الحديث منكر أيضاً؛ لمخالفته لكل أحاديث الباب في قوله:" استكثروا "، وفي زياداته في آخره: "ولا حول.. ". (تنبيه) : وقد شذ ابن حبان عن كل أصحاب المصادر المذكورة، فلم يذكر في الحديث جملة: "الملة ". ثم رأيت في "المسند" (٤/٢٦٧- ٢٦٨) من طريق رجل من الأنصار من آل النعمان بن بشير عن النعمان بن بشير مرفوعاً، بلفظ:"ألا! وإن سبحان الله.. هن الباقيات الصالحات ". ورجاله ثقات؛ غير الرجل الذي لم يسم. وجملة القول؛ أن الحديث صحيح بشواهده، وهو من حيث المعنى أظهر منها؛ لأنه يتفق مع التفسير الصحيح لقوله تعالى: (والباقيات الصالحات خير عند ربك ثواباً وخير أملاً) [الكهف: ٤٦] . فقد ذكر ابن جرير في تفسيرها عدة
