I have not prepared much for it in terms of deeds, except that I love Allāh and His Messenger. He said: "Then you will be with those you love, and you will have what you have anticipated..." It was recorded by Aḥmad (3/226 and 283) and Abū Yaʿlá (5/144/2758) and through his route: Ibn Ḥibbān (1/387/565). I say: This is a good isnād in which al-Mubārak and al-Ḥasan explicitly stated the transmission, and it is a strong witness for the wording of the ḥadīth in the chapter. And Allāh knows best. Al-Mubārak has another isnād; for it was said: Thābit al-Bunānī narrated to us from Anas that a man was with the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam): ... the ḥadīth until he said: "May the one for whose sake you love me love you." It was recorded by Abū Dāwūd (5125) and al-Ḥākim (4/171) - who authenticated it - and Aḥmad (3/150). Al-Ḥusayn ibn Wāqid also followed him: Thābit narrated it to me. It was recorded by Ibn Ḥibbān (570) and Aḥmad (3/140-141). ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Zubayr al-Bāhilī also followed him: Thābit narrated it to me. It was recorded by Abū Yaʿlá (6/162/3442), and through his route: Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (4/175), and ʿAlī ibn al-Jaʿd as previously mentioned under number (418). The ḥadīth is in "al-Ṣaḥīḥayn" and others from the narration of Anas and Ibn Masʿūd similar to the ḥadīth of al-Mubārak from al-Ḥasan from Anas; but with the wording: "A person is with those he loves."
