directly (5304) - from the path of Muḥammad ibn Salamah, from Muḥammad ibn Isḥāq, from ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb, from his father, from his grandfather. that the delegation of Hawāzin, when they came to the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) at al-Jiʿrānah and had embraced Islam, said: We are family and kin, and we have suffered from calamities that are not hidden from you, so bestow upon us as Allāh has bestowed upon you. Then a man from Hawāzin—one of the Banū Saʿd ibn Bakr—named Zuhayr, known as Abū Ṣard, stood up and said: ... and he mentioned it, omitting the last two verses, and the story is more complete. This isnād is good; were it not for the ʿanʿanah of Ibn Isḥāq, but he explicitly stated transmission in his book "al-Sīrah," which Ibn Hishām abridged, from the narration of Ziyād ibn ʿAbd Allāh al-Bakkāʾī from Ibn Isḥāq who said: ʿAmr ibn Shuʿayb narrated it to me. (Vol. 3, pp. 488-490). This is a strong corroboration for the ḥadīth of the biography; as al-Ḥāfiẓ said in "al-Lisān." *
- (You are with those you love, and you will have what you have intended.) It was narrated by ʿAbd al-Razzāq in "al-Muṣannaf" (11/200/20319), and from him by al-Bayhaqī in "al-Shuʿab" (6/489/9011): Maʿmar informed us from al-Ashʿath ibn ʿAbd Allāh from Anas ibn Mālik who said: A man passed by the Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) while he was with some people, and a man among those with him said: I love this man for the sake of Allāh. The Prophet (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: "Have you informed him?" He said: No. He said: "Then go to him and inform him." So he went to him and informed him, and he said:
