I said: This chain of transmission is very weak; this Abū Shaybah's name is Ibrāhīm ibn ʿUthmān al-ʿAbasī, their client from Kūfah. Al-Bukhārī said: "They remained silent about him." They mentioned her, and the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said... and he mentioned it with the wording: "He would have been forgiven." It was recorded by al-Bazzār in "his Musnad" (2/212/1541 - al-Kashf), and Ibn ʿAdī in "al-Kāmil" (1/249) through two routes from Abū Ismāʿīl al-Muʾaddib with it, and they said: "He was unique in narrating it from al-Aʿmash, Abū Ismāʿīl al-Muʾaddib." I said: His name is Ibrāhīm ibn Sulaymān, and as Ibn ʿAdī said: "His ḥadīth is good, and he has many unique and good narrations, indicating that he is among the truthful, and his ḥadīth is written."
