al-Adami said: narrated to us by Abū Ḍumrah from Abū Ḥāzim from Sahl ibn Saʿd al-Sāʿidī: that the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ... and he mentioned it. I said: This isnād is authentic, its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of the two Shaykhs; except for this al-Adami, and he is trustworthy without dispute. And he was followed, as Muḥammad ibn Ḥammād said: narrated to us by Anas ibn ʿIyāḍ al-Laythī from Abū Ḥāzim—and I do not know it except—from Sahl ibn Saʿd with it. It was narrated by al-Bayhaqī in "Shuʿab al-Īmān" (7/260/10237). And this Muḥammad ibn Ḥammād is also trustworthy, he is al-Abīwardī; Ibn Ḥibbān declared him trustworthy (9/99 and 107), and a group of trustworthy narrators narrated from him. And they were followed by Imām Aḥmad (5/331): narrated to us by Anas ibn ʿIyāḍ with it. And the first part of it was narrated by al-Bukhārī (4936, 5301, and 6563), Muslim (8/208), Ibn Ḥibbān (6608 - al-Iḥsān), Aḥmad (5/330, 335, 338), al-Ṭabarānī (5873, 5885, 5912, 5988) and others through various chains from Abū Ḥāzim with it. And it has a witness from the ḥadīth of Anas with the two Shaykhs, Ibn Ḥibbān (6606), and others. And another from the ḥadīth of Abū Hurayrah with al-Bukhārī, Ibn Mājah (2/375/3265), Ibn Ḥibbān (6607) and others.
