"Allāh and His Messenger have spoken the truth. Today I will meet the beloved ones, Muḥammad and his party. Indeed, the Messenger of Allāh (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam) said: ..." Then he mentioned the ḥadīth and said, "By Allāh! Even if they were to defeat us until they reach the palm trees of (Hajar), we would know that we are upon the truth and they are upon falsehood." It was narrated by Abū Nuʿaym (1/141-142) through the route of al-Ṭabarānī: Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī al-Maʿmarī narrated to us: Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān ibn Abī al-Rajāʾ narrated to us... I say: This isnād is acceptable for supporting evidence; al-Maʿmarī is a well-known ḥāfiẓ, and their shaykh Muḥammad ibn Sulaymān was deemed trustworthy by Ibn Ḥibbān (9/95). And Abū Maʿshar: he is Najīḥ ibn ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Sindī, who is weak due to his confusion. Al-Haythamī (9/298) said: "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī, and its isnād is ḥasan!" This is lenient from him, unless he means it is ḥasan due to other supporting evidence, which is contrary to what is apparent. And Allāh knows best. *

"(The last provision you will have from this world is a sip of milk. Meaning: ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir.)" It was narrated by al-Ḥākim (3/389), and al-Ṭabarānī in "al-Muʿjam al-Awsaṭ" (2/101/2), and Ibn ʿAsākir in "Tārīkh Dimashq" (12/659) through two routes from Ḥarmalah ibn Yaḥyá: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Wahb narrated to us: Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿd informed me from his father from his grandfather who said: I heard ʿAmmār ibn Yāsir at (Ṣiffīn) on the day he was killed, calling out: "Paradise has drawn near, and the ḥūr al-ʿīn have been wedded. Today we meet our beloved Muḥammad (ṣallá Allāhu ʿalayhi wa-sallam), (and in another narration: we meet the beloved ones, Muḥammad and his party), he entrusted me with ..." Then he mentioned the ḥadīth
