and al-Nasāʾī, Ibn Mājah, and Abū Dāwūd—part of it—and it is recorded in "al-Irwāʾ" (7/85), and its citation was omitted from its printed version, so it should be noted here. I have said there: "Its narrators are trustworthy, the narrators of Muslim; except for Sumayyah, who is considered acceptable by al-Ḥāfiẓ Ibn Ḥajar." I add here by saying: al-Dhahabī mentioned her at the end of "al-Mīzān" in the section "Unknown Women," and he said at its beginning: "I am not aware of any woman who was accused, nor of any who were abandoned." al-Haythamī said in the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah (4/323): "It was narrated by al-Ṭabarānī in 'al-Awsaṭ', and in it is Sumayyah, for whom Abū Dāwūd and others narrated, and no one criticized her, and the rest of its narrators are trustworthy!" Thus he said! He missed attributing it to Aḥmad, and in his narration of the ḥadīth of Ṣafiyyah, there are two observations: one is the agreement of what is in the book of ʿAbd al-Razzāq with what is in the narration of Aḥmad and others for the ḥadīth of ʿĀʾishah that the narrator from Ṣafiyyah and from ʿĀʾishah is "Sumayyah," but it appeared in the printed version of ʿAbd al-Razzāq as "Saminah" with an extra nūn between the yāʾ and the hāʾ! I suspect it is a typographical error. The other: in the memory of ʿAbd al-Razzāq, the name of the narrator is "Shumaysah," a diminutive of "the sun," and this agrees with what was narrated by al-Bukhārī in "al-Adab al-Mufrad" (47/142) from the route of Shuʿbah from Shumaysah al-ʿAtakiyyah who said: the etiquette of the orphan was mentioned to ʿĀʾishah—(raḍiya Allāhu ʿanhā), and she said:
